It’s always been hard to make a living in music. Lately it’s even harder.

Mynt is creating entirely new revenue streams for musicians, bringing artists and fans closer.

Let’s face it, streaming is a marketing vehicle and not a great way to generate revenue (unless you are at the upper reaches of success). With sustainable opportunities emerging through NFTs, web3 and decentralization, we are on the cusp of something great!

Whether you’re an obsessive super fan or everyday music lover, now you can directly support your favorite artists, and have fun doing so!

Our Story

We are an experienced team of professionals who have been in the music industry for decades, working with over 700 established and independent artists including Beck, Interpol and other amazing grass-roots talent.

After successfully launching past NFT projects and researching several potential blockhains for Mynt, we would focus on ecosystems with low fees which are key for buyers, and environmental credentials which serve the common reservations we get from artists. We see the potential of this technology to drive value towards artists, labels, and fans as well.

Meet the Team

  • George Worsey

    CO-FOUNDER

George likes to march to the beat of his own drum.. but since his Staffordshire marching band disbanded over a disagreement about whose turn it was to pay for gas, George turned to drumming for an indie band. How predictable! Claims to fame mostly include numerous stories about how the band almost made it or understudied for bands that did make it (A Flock of Seagulls, Camera Obscura, Editors). George had an ace up his sleeve however; he was also quite good at business. George spent 7 years as the head of music & content at North Note Music, has founded and scaled 2 tech companies, and successfully co-built a music marketplace with over 1000 independent music artists. Over 10 years later, with a burning passion for music and business, he’s still killing it!

  • Adam Smith

    CO-FOUNDER

At the age of 20, Adam took Eminem's line “nobody listens to techno” very personally… so much so that he dived fully into the genre and even considered renaming himself Nobody. Coming from the Northamptonshire countryside with no ambitions to make shoes for a living, Adam started his journey into the music industry by going to film school and immediately fell in love with the process of picking soundtracks rather than creating films. It was this realization that he was better suited for placing music that led him to move into music licensing, representing hundreds of emerging music artists in sync for T.V. and Film. With over a decade of industry experience, and almost 1000 music artists later, Adam still listens to techno.

Truly his talent and magic lies in his ability to synthesize grassroots and high fashion culture; distilled perfectly in his art.
